Guest Rooms

Stay in one of 26 rooms, each one designed so that every detail tells its own story.

The rooms are spread across several heritage buildings of the castle estate — each wing carries its own character, reflecting the centuries this home has lived through. Some interiors are kept in the spirit of elegant English country classic. Others pair modern accents with references to the castle’s Renaissance past. Others still are richly furnished, with crystal chandeliers and boldly patterned wallpapers.

All are finished and equipped to the same high standard.

Around Sarny Castle

Sarny is a fine base for exploring the Czech-Polish borderland — the Sudetes, the Kłodzko Region and northeastern Bohemia. It’s also a place for a quiet weekend together, or a few days with a book in the garden.

A short drive brings you to the Owl Mountains and the Table Mountains, the spa towns of Polanica-Zdrój and Kudowa-Zdrój (20–30 km), the Adršpach Rocks (36 km), Książ Castle and the Zieleniec ski resort (under an hour). On the Czech side, ten minutes from the castle, stands the Baroque monastery in Broumov by the Dientzenhofers — one of the most important monuments of the region.

The Kłodzko Region is known for its many castles, palaces and historic churches — among them the Basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wambierzyce, 9 kilometers from Sarny Castle.

Restoration in Progress

Sarny Castle has been under restoration since 2013. Every stay directly supports this work — each night spent at the castle goes toward its continued rebuilding. We do our best to ensure that ongoing work doesn’t affect the comfort and quiet of your visit.
